Allison has over 30 years’ experience working as a Registered Nurse. She graduated in 1993 from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Science and moved from Australia to the United States in 2002 to work as a travel nurse working in a variety of critical care settings throughout the country.
Allison began working as an Office Practice Nurse in the Department of Cardiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in 2014 and transferred to the Department of Neurology in 2016 working as a Clinical Trials Nurse III within the Department of Nursing.
Allison obtained her Oncology Nursing Certification in 2021. A highly skilled, compassionate and dedicated Clinical Trials Nurse working with patients and their significant others to provide holistic care while ensuring research compliance.
Allison provides primary oversight to several protocols, while also providing mentorship to onboarding and junior Clinical Research Nurses. Allison also provides support to patients and caregivers within the rare disease portfolio, and facilitates the brain tumor support group as well as adolescent and young adult Program. Alison also facilitates OneMSK CTN meetings and represents Clinical Trials Nurses at the Magnet Committee. Additionally, Allison works on the Membership Marketing and Communications board of the International Association of Clinical Research Nurses (IACRN).
Her other achievements include poster presentations at IACRN conferences and a podium presentation at the Erdheim Chester Disease conference.
In 2019 she was published in AACR- Genomic Correlates of Disease Progression and Treatment Response in Prospectively Characterized Gliomas.
