Kiran Devisetty, MD is a radiation oncologist and Clinical Associate Professor at Mercer University School of Medicine currently in practice at Memorial Health’s Curtis & Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute. He completed medical school at the University of Michigan followed by residency at the University of Chicago. Following his training, he started as an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2009 where he developed the liver stereotactic body radiation therapy program and was an active member of the head & neck, thoracic, and hepatobiliary cancer teams. In 2012, Dr. Devisetty joined the Karmanos Cancer Institute (KCI) at McLaren Flint where he also served as Medical Director of the Karmanos Cancer Network Radiation Oncology research program that included 10 cancer centers. Under his leadership, KCI became recognized nationally as top 5 in accruals among NRG Lead Academic Participating Sites. He also held adjunct positions as a Clinical Associate Professor at both Michigan State University & Central Michigan University in addition to Clinical Assistant Professor at Wayne State University. In 2021, Dr. Devisetty joined his current practice and is part of multi-disciplinary teams for both adult and pediatric cancer. Dr. Devisetty has worked in a variety of health care practice settings (i.e. academic, government, and community-based) in addition to working in both urban and rural environments. He is actively involved in clinical research and serves on multiple American Society of Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) committees, which includes a recent appointment to ASTRO’s Health Policy Fellowship.
