Dr. Eckel-Passow is a Professor of Biostatistics in the Division of Computational Genomics, Department of Quantitative Health Sciences, Mayo Clinic. Her statistical research interests entail application of statistical methods to high-dimensional data, with a particular interest in studying the etiology and biomarkers for brain cancer. She is the co-Principal Investigator on an NIH/NINDS R01 to develop MRI-based machine learning and polygenic risk models for diagnosis of intermediate brain lesions, has more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, and has extensive experience in clinical, translational and basic science research.
