Luis G. Fernandez III, MD is a fifth year neurosurgical resident in the Department of Neurological Surgery in Chicago, IL with an interest in skull base tumors and neuro-oncology. He is currently working in Dr. Maciej Lesniak's laboratory working on biomarkers of susceptibility to oncolytic virotherapy. He plans to pursue a post-residency fellowship in open and endoscopic skull base surgery.
