Hannah Brown was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Political Science from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Purdue University. Hannah’s graduate research focused on the analysis of brain tumor biopsies using intraoperative mass spectrometry (MS)-based platforms for improved glioma diagnostics based on molecular features. She is currently a Clinical Chemistry Fellow in the Department of Pathology and Immunology Division of Laboratory Medicine and Genomics at the Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys sharing meals with friends and family, skiing, traveling, and spending quality time with her dog, Pebbles.
