Dr. Ullrich completed her medical and graduate degrees at Yale University followed by residency in Pediatrics and Neurology at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she then did her fellowship in NeuroOncology before joining the faculty. She is Director of Neurologic NeuroOncology as part of the Dana-Farber/Boston Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders Center and Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. Her research focuses on neurologic and oncologic complications of NF1 and the long-term neurologic complications of childhood systemic cancer and brain tumors. Dr. Ullrich is currently Chair of the Neurotoxicity Task Force for Children's Oncology Group and former Chair of the Neuroscience Discipline. She is currently study chair for an intervention using memantine to protect cognitive function for children receiving radiation therapy for a primary brain tumor.
