I was born and raised in Turkey. I graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine with MD degree and later completed Residency in Radiation Oncology at Ankara University Radiation Oncology Department.
I worked at Moffitt Cancer Center Radiation Oncology Department and Imaging of Cancer Lab as a research fellow for 1 year. During my fellowship at Moffitt, I worked on central nervous system tumors, melanoma, and radiomics analysis. I presented our work at ASTRO 2020 as an oral presentation. Then, I joined Miami Cancer Institute Radiation Oncology Department as a clinical research fellow.
My research background and clinical interests have primarily focused on the central nervous system tumors and advanced radiation therapy treatment techniques. Outside of medicine, I enjoy playing tennis, exploring new places, watching movies, and spending time with my friends.
