Dr. Yi Zhao is a Sr. research associate currently working at Research Institute of Corewell (Beaumont) health under supervision of Dr. Prakash Chinnaiyan. She received her PhD in University of Tennessee by studying diet effect on prostate cancer. She conducted her postdoc training in University of Michigan focusing on stem cells and tissue regeneration. Her current work is utilizing organoids model to study metabolic alterations and cancer stem cell plasticity of glioblastoma.
