I am Hayk Mnatsakanyan, postdoctoral fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. I am Ph.D. in biotechnology from the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia (Spain). In the past year and a half I have been studying glioblastoma stem cells and the mechanisms that confer them drug resistance. In this regard, we have been paying special attention to FA synthesis pathway since de novo FA synthesis is a process that allows glioblastoma stem cells to overcome stress and supply their energy demand, being a potential mechanism for drug resistance.
