Martin Merenzon was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Buenos Aires and is a fully trained neurosurgeon. He did a Functional Neurosurgery clinical fellowship in Buenos Aires at the Italian Hospital in 2019-2020. He has conducted many research projects in Neuro-Oncology, and won the National Cancer Institute (Arg.) scholarship with an epidemiological glioma study conducted in Buenos Aires. Then, he won the 2021 CNS Foundation award with an in vitro glioblastoma cell cultures metabolic study. Consequently, he did an Observership in Surgical Neuro-Oncology at the University of Miami. His main areas of interest are Epilepsy, Functional, and Neuro-Oncology. Currently, he is working as the Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Miami Hospital.
