Jiaying Zheng (Fiona) is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in neuroscience. She is doing her thesis in Dr. Long-Jun Wu's laboratory, focusing on myeloid studies in glioblastoma. She works on multiple neuro-immune projects, including understanding important myeloid channels/receptors in glioma progression, such as voltage-gated proton channel Hv1, triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM2), P2Y12; and myeloid-T cell interactions. She is skilled in a wide range of techniques, including mouse brain surgeries, spectral flow cytometry, in vivo two-photon imaging, and pathological staining.
