April Bell is a graduate student in the lab of Dr. Derek Wainwright at Northwestern University. April graduated from the University of Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. April's dissertation focuses on the intersection of aging, senescence and glioblastoma. In her four years in Dr. Wainwright's lab, April has contributed to several manuscripts, won an T32 training grant and applied for an F31 award. When not in the lab, April enjoys biking, reading, and trying new foods.
