Andrew Dhawan, MD DPhil, is a current fellow in medical neuro-oncology at the Cleveland Clinic. He completed his Adult Neurology residency training at the Cleveland Clinic and has a strong interest in neuro-oncology, neuro-metabolics, and neuro-genetics. Prior to his residency, he completed a DPhil in Oncology, focused in non-coding RNA and computational genomics at the University of Oxford. Prior to this, he completed his medical school at Queen's University in Kingston, Canada and undergraduate degree in pure and applied mathematics at the University of Waterloo, in Waterloo, Canada. His research interests span mathematical oncology, computational biology, particularly in the areas of brain tumor genomics and clinical translation of biomarkers, as well as characterization of ultra-rare disorders with novel genomic strategies.
