Jefferson is a fourth-year medical student in the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Scientist Training Program, where he completed his PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 2021 and is currently applying for residency in neurological surgery. His research interests are broad and include macrophage regulation of osseous healing, neutrophil extracellular trap formation, and radiation-induced meningiomas. In addition to his research interests, he enjoys travel, scuba diving, autocross, homemade lattes, and spending time with his two cats, Cass and Pit.
