Dr. Wan-Hsin (Wan) Lin is a Staff Research Scientist at the Department of Cancer Biology of Mayo Clinic Florida and works closely with Mayo’s Center for Individualized Medicine. She is passionate about using her scientific training and communication skills to support clinical decision-making and cancer patient care. She received training in cancer and cell biology (post-doctorate, Mayo Clinic), molecular neuroscience and tumor cell migration (Ph.D., Vanderbilt University), cancer microbiology (M.S., National Taiwan University), and medical technology (B.S., National Cheng-Kung University, Taiwan). She has extensive experience in precision cancer medicine in more than 20 cancer types with a particular focus and research interest in brain cancer, including glioma. With experience in analyzing and interpreting approximately 300 human cancer genomes, she provides scientific insights on the clinical impacts of genetic alterations and recommendations on best treatment/drug screening options to clinicians and cancer researchers. She has published in top-tier journals, including Nature Cancer, Science Advances, and Journal of Cell Biology, etc.
