Dr. Karisa Schreck is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Oncology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is a neuro-oncologist focused on translational research to improve our use of targeted therapies in adult patients with high-grade glioma. Her particular focus is on therapies for the BRAF V600E mutation and she is PI of a clinical trial evaluating the efficacy of binimetinib and encorafenib in adults with high-grade glioma. She is also active in the laboratory focused on mechanisms of emergent resistance to targeted therapy in glioma. In addition to her research, Dr. Schreck sees and cares for adult patients with a variety of brain tumor types.
