Jason Slater, MD is a radiation oncologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. His primary focus is the use of proton therapy on cancers of the head and neck, base of skull, and central nervous system. Prior to joining faculty at Loma Linda University he was on staff at Massachussets General Hospital and faculty member of Harvard Medical School where he dedicated research time to the clinical outcomes of proton therapy in patients with lower grade gliomas including neurocognitive and neuroendocrine function. Additional interest include temporal lobe changes in nasopharyngeal cancer patients treated with proton beam therapy and chemosensory outcomes for nasopharyngeal cancer patients.
