Jun Guo is currently a postdoctoral researcher with the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn). He has been a visiting student researcher at the University of California, Berkeley from 2019 to 2020. He received a Ph.D. degree from the Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute (TBSI), Tsinghua University in 2020. His research interests include pattern recognition and machine learning. In particular, he focuses on sparse learning, matrix factorization, and their applications in the biomedical data processing.
