My name is Lauren Whaley and I am a Master of Science Biology Student at the University of North Florida, completing my third year of research in the Neurogenesis and Brain Tumors Laboratory within Mayo Clinic’s Neurosurgery Department (Jacksonville, FL). My research in Dr. Hugo Guerrero-Cazares' lab focuses on investigating the role of discrete proteins in glioblastoma malignancy and how they may function in the context of cerebrospinal fluid-tumor signaling.
