Keisuke Katsushima, Ph.D. received his Ph.D. from Hokkaido University Graduate School of Life Science in 2012. After his postdoctoral research at Aichi Cancer Center Research Institute, he became a postdoctoral researcher of Nagoya City University Graduate School of Medical Sciences in 2014. In 2015, he became an assistant professor of Nagoya City University Graduate School of Medical Sciences. In 2017, he became an assistant professor of Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine. In 2019, he is a postdoctoral researcher of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His work is focused on the dynamic regulation of gene expression by non-coding RNA in human glioblastoma. His works accomplished to date highlight the long non-coding RNA that govern the specific regulation of a certain set of genes, which contribute to characteristic features of glioblastoma. Now his interest is in function of long non-coding RNA in human medulloblastoma.
