Nicole Briceno is a biologist in the Neuro-Oncology branch at the National Institutes of Health. She attended University of Maryland for her Master's where she worked to devleop genetically modified mouse models of prostate cancer. Currently, her focus is on the molecular characterization of rare central nervous system tumors through next-generation sequencing and methylome analysis. Based on these data, we are able to stratify diagnoses further to benefit the patient and improve targeted treatment.
