Dr. Rowland Han, MD is a neurosurgery resident at Washington University in St. Louis. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania. He then attended Washington University in St. Louis for his medical degree (MD) as well as a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation. During medical school, he completed a one-year research fellowship under the supervision of Dr. David Limbrick studying diffusion MRI and its role in diagnosing high-grade brain injury in preterm infants. As part of his residency training, Dr. Han is currently spending two dedicated research years in the labs of Dr. Albert Kim and Dr. Sheng-Kwei (Victor) Song. His research interests include development of advanced imaging and novel therapeutic approaches for glioblastoma using preclinical models and clinical data.
