Harshal Shah graduated from the University of Maryland in 2021 with a dual degree in Biochemistry and Neurobiology, and is currently a medical student at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. His research interests center around improving neurosurgical management of brain tumors, and he plans to pursue a career in neurosurgery, specializing in neuro-oncology, after medical school.
