I am Dr. Saritha Krishna, a postdoctoral researcher at University of California, San Francisco. My research focuses on synaptogenesis-mediated cortical plasticity in adult glioma patients. Some regions within gliomas have been found to have strong functional connectivity with surrounding brain areas and investigation of how a specific population of connectivity-rich glioma cells interact with their immediate vicinity neurons to impact tumor biology and influence language and cognitive functions in brain tumor patients is the fundamental goal of my research.
