Dr. Takahide Nejo is a postdoctoral scholar in the laboratory of Dr. Hideho Okada in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UC San Francisco. He received his M.D. from Tokyo Medical and Dental University in 2009, completed a neurosurgery residency program at the University of Tokyo, and was certified by the Japanese Neurosurgery Society Board in 2015. He studied tumor progression, neoantigen evolution, and immune escape mechanisms in glioma, and earned his Ph.D. in Neurosciences from the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine in 2019. Since joining UCSF in 2019, Dr. Nejo has been working in the Okada laboratory to elucidate novel therapeutic targets for cancer immunotherapy in glioma, particularly through immunogenomics approaches.
