Ashley Parham Ghiaseddin, MD, Clinical Assistant Professor and Fellowship Director of Neuro-Oncology in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Ashley Parham Ghiaseddin, MD, received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame. He received his medical degree from the University of Toledo, and went on to complete his residency at Indiana University, followed by his neuro-oncology fellowship at Duke University.
Dr. Ghiaseddin enjoys teaching the physicians of the future. He has experience teaching medical students, residents and interns, in addition to undergraduate students. As a neuro-oncologist, Dr. Ghiaseddin remains active in clinical trials as well as authoring manuscripts. He has been involved with numerous poster presentations at the SNO Annual Meetings during his Fellowship and currently at UF. Current research involvement includes a study of the immune monitoring of glioma patients, a trial of CMV RNA-pulsed dendritic cells with tetanus-diphtheria toxoid vaccine for glioblastoma patients, and an analysis of molecular and radiographic markers of pseudoprogression in Glioblastoma patients.
