Dong Ho Shin is a PhD candidate at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Dong Ho is interested in using oncolytic viruses to treat brain and other solid tumors. He is specifically interested in investigating how the systemic and local immune responses in the brain can target both the therapeutic virus and the tumors, and how those two immune responses can be directed to maximize the potential of oncolytic virotherapy.
