Rita Crooms, MD MPH is an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Palliative Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She attended medical school and neurology residency at the University of California, San Francisco before moving to Mount Sinai for hospice and palliative medicine fellowship. She practices outpatient neuropalliative care for patients with serious neurologic illness both in her own clinic and in Mount Sinai's multidisciplinary ALS clinic. She is also an early career health services researcher focused on developing models of palliative care delivery for patients with primary malignant brain tumors.
