Lalanthica Yogendran, completed her Neuro-Oncology fellowship at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. This is in addition to her Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona with a focus in neuro-palliative care, and her clinical research fellowship in Psycho-Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, that included a publication assessing the knowledge of cancer diagnosis among immigrant/ migrant minorities. This combined experience lead her to being invited to chair the Education Speaker Series Committee for the International Neuropalliative Care Society/INPCS. Her team develops educational resources for healthcare providers, patients and caregivers. She most recently published a review on, “navigating disability insurance in the American healthcare system for the low-grade glioma patient”. She is passionate about clinical research within the intersection of neuro-oncology and palliative medicine to discover how to improve brain tumor patients’ quality of life and comprehensive care. Following completion of her fellowship, she joined the University of Cincinnati, within the Department of Neurology.
