Dr. Kerschbaumer attended Med-School at the Medical University of Innsbruck. He started his neurosurgical career in 2011 and focussed early-on in neurooncological research. He finished his residency in 2018 and serves as junior staff at the Department of Neurosurgery. His main interest consists in interdisciplinary treatment of brain metastases and multimodal treatment in low-grade glioma.
He completed his PhD in Neuroscience with research in metabolic imaging in brain metastases.
