I am a fourth-year PhD candidate at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center UT Health Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in the Cancer BIology Program. I am currently in the Georgia Cancer Center at Augusta University completing my doctoral training directed at developing therapies against solid tumors employing oncolytic viral vectors. Fun facts: I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico, Humacao Campus, with a major in Microbiology. I participated from research experiences in neuroscience, toxicology, and developmental biology. I enjoy being involved in community outreach and peer mentoring.
