Khashayar Mozaffari, BS, is a medical student at George Washington University. Following the completion of three years of medical school, Khashayar has taken two years off to perform research with Dr. Isaac Yang in the Neurosurgery Department at UCLA. His clinical research focuses on surgical repair of superior semicircular canal dehiscence and brain tumors, and his translational research is focused on understanding the implications of Epithelial membrane protein 2 (EMP2) in brain tumors. Khashayar plans to apply to Neurosurgery residency programs in September 2023.
