Vladimir Khristov B.S., is an MD/PhD candidate at the department of Neurosurgery at the Penn State Unviersity College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania. His past work at the National Eye Institute includes IND-enabling preclinical studies to develop an autologous, stem-cell derived retinal pigment epithelium implant for the treatment of age-related macular degeneration. His current research in the field of Neuro-oncology focuses on developing minimally invasive diagnostic tools for informing clinical decisions in the treatment of glioblastoma multiforme and other tumors of the CNS.
