Dr. Todd Hollon is a neurosurgeon and research scientist who specializes in brain tumors. He is an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Michigan. He completed his postdoctoral training in optical imaging and artifical intellignence under the supervision of Drs. Daniel Orringer and Honglak Lee. His postdoctoral work focused on the application of deep neural networks to advanced imaging methods to improve the speed and accuracy of intraoperative brain tumor diagnosis. He hopes to be part of the next generation of young scientists that uses computation and machine learning to make scientific breakthroughs.
