Wolfgang Wick is chairman and professor of Neurology at Heidelberg University and Division Head for Neuro Oncology at the DKFZ. He has a translational research focus on precision medicine (innovative clinical trials), treatment resistance (spokesperson of the first German Collaborative Research Center in Neurooncology (SFB 1389/UNITE; www.unite-glioblastoma.de/) and immunotherapy. He serves/-ed as chair of NOA, EORTC Brain Tumor group and EANO, is a driving force behind the Heidelberg/Mannheim Health and Life Science Alliance and is a member of the German Academy of Sciences (Leopoldina) and the German Research Council (Wissenschaftsrat).
