I currently work at the Institute of Environmental Science and Research (ESR) in Christchurch, New Zealand, where I am the Information Specialist. I have worked for ESR for the past 20 years, before that I was a librarian, in various subject areas, in the UK for four years. I have been a member of SLA for over 20 years and have served on the board of SLA and in various positions in other communities.
My current position involves working across a large number of subject areas releated to environmental health as well as working for the forensic staff who provide services to the police. Currently a great deal of my time is spent providing information to the staff who are working in the area of coronavirus research.
Over my lifetime as a librarian I worked in the legal, computer research and academic areas.
