Michael Wirth received his MSPH and PHD in Epidemiology from the Arnold School of Public Health. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing and in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Arnold School of Public Health, University of South Carolina. Michael is interested in the effects of circadian rhythm disruption on the human body and various health outcomes. Michael also pursues research in relation to dietary sources of inflammation, physical activity, and stress on health. Through this work, his successess have gained him national recognition that has taken the form of being accepted as a Fellow into the American College of Epidemiology.
