Bobbi Weaver is the Foreign & International Law Reference Librarian/Adjunct Law Professor at California Western School of Law in San Diego, CA. In 2012, she published a bibliographic article on pet food information and regulation (abstract at http://shorturl.at/bjxJ4). Prior to working at Cal Western, Bobbi worked as a regulatory analyst and staff librarian at a department of the U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, DC. While working there, she researched and wrote environmental regulations and also assisted her colleagues with research for their projects. Bobbi often uses examples from her work at the U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters to teach her students about interdisciplinary research as it applies to the law. In addition to her work responsibilities, Bobbi regularly volunteers at a food pantry in her community. She also serves on the board of Haiti Reads (www.haitireads.org), a nonprofit organization that provides educational resources to people in Haiti and the diaspora through it's "Virtual Library" at http://www.haitireads.org/virtual-library.html. She has also volunteered her research skills by helping local environmental groups with environmental and animal law matters.
