I am 39 years old and have been working as a Librarian in the House of Representatives of Indonesia since 2010 to provide support for information access for members of parliament and the public. I supported parliamentary research service to run effectively by facilitating and initiating several programs such as E-Clipping, Selected Information Package, Institutional Repositories of Parliament of Indonesia, and Information Literacy Program initiatives.
Besides working to develop literacy and digital information skills for the user and librarian, I also have to organize seminars, workshops, book reviews, and focus group discussion activities about parliament, library, and information topic at the same time. Of course, those activities include assisting in preparing the library's strategic plan, action, and evaluation activities.
Currently, I am active in several professional organizations, namely, as a Programs & Sponsorship Committee in SLA Asian Community Sub-Committee since 2021; as a Secretary in Association of Parliamentary Librarians of Asia and the Pacific (APLAP) since 2022; and as a Directory Coordinator in Association of Indonesian Library & Information Professionals since 2021.
