I have been working in the Center for Data and Visualization Sciences in the Duke University Libraries since its inception in 2007 and currently serve as the subject librarian for economics and business, geographic information systems (GIS), geography, and maps. I began working at Duke in 1996, and from 1990-1996, I worked as a librarian specializing in government documents and maps at Texas A&M University. I earned a Master of Library and Information Science at the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in Economics from Rice University.
