The Covid 19 pandemic caught universities and research centers across the world off guard and as such we were scrambling in search of solutions on the fly as we learnt more about its mode of transmission and preventive measures to put in place. It was thus considered and information crises or "infodemic" as it literally limited access to information resources especially in countries of the global South. The use of instructional technology such as Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp etc. was used to bridge the gap and provide the much-needed exchanges when travel was restricted. This presentation highlight the fun part in such international collaboration such as knowledge sharing, networking and possible research collaboration opportunities to myriad of challenges that many in the global North take for granted. This would be a great session for those interested in working in the global south or internationally where cultural competencies would be a prerequisite.
