Shreya Udani is a 4th year bioengineering PhD student in the Di Carlo lab for microfluidic biotechnology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her thesis project focuses on developing lab-on-particle technology for single cell analysis, particularly on isolating subpopulations of stem cells based on the growth factor secretion. The goal of the research is to enable scientists to determine and manipulate therapeutic properties of cells for cell therapy applications in an accessible manner.
