Vishwesh is a PhD Candidate at the University of California, Los Angeles' Bioengineering department. Vishwesh's work focuses on developing accessible quantum diagnostics, based on digital ELISAs, by leveraging hydrogel particles to democratize the compartmentalization process. He has presented at numerous regional, national, and international conferences; notably his work was selected as top 10% of all submissions by a Chemical and Biological Microsystems Society committee, recognized with an Oral Presentation at the annual MicroTAS conference in Basel, Switzerland (2019). He also serves as the co-president of the Bioengineering Graduate Association and works on industry relations and organizing events aimed at career development for graduate students in the department.
