Adam Ferguson is an Automation Engineer at Ginkgo Bioworks. At Ginkgo, Adam has worked on the design and implementation of a variety of systems to support cell engineering workflows, including robotic liquid handlers, colony picking machines, and integrated systems. Prior to Ginkgo, Adam was a Systems Engineer at Lasergen (acquired by Agilent in 2018) working on the development of novel next-generation sequencing chemistries and instrumentation. Adam holds a B.S. in Bioengineering from Rice University.
