Tony has worked as a Medical Scientist in Histopathology and Molecular Pathology for over 20 years in the department of Pathology at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Tony manages a clinical laboratory providing an immunohistochemistry and molecular pathology service to over 20 laboratories throughout Ireland. He completed his PhD on the metastatic potential of cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma in renal transplant recipients and is co-author of over 90 papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has extensive experience of molecular pathology testing in solid tumors in particular, colorectal, lung and melanoma and has acted as an assessor for the UK National External Quality Assessment Scheme for over 10 years.
