Dr. Navin is a Distinguished Professor at the MD Anderson Cancer Center and a world-leader in the field of single cell cancer genomics. His group developed the first single cell DNA sequencing methods to study cancer, and continues to develop technologies to study invasion, metastasis and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer. He is also the Director of the CPRIT Single Cell Genomics Center and co-director of the Advanced Genome Technologies Core, as well as the co-leader of the Human Breast Atlas Project.
