Career Connections: Mentoring Sessions / Job Boards
Contact Suanne Determan if you would like to sign up for a FREE one-on-one mentoring session with an industry professional. Sessions will last 45 minutes and will be held Monday, Tuesday and in the SLAS Booth. This popular program is now a year-round online platform on SLAS Mentor Match and in person at SLAS2022. Connect with mentors of various disciplines ahead of the meeting or set up an online meeting.
If you are attending in person, appointments are on a first-come, first-serve basis and will fill up fast. View the list of Mentors, then contact Suanne Determan for a time slot to chat.
If you are attending virtually, connect with a mentor by using the online Mentor Match platform.
Mentor Match platform with your selected mentor prior to your in person meeting to provide your resume, CV, cover letter, research summary, etc. This provides your mentor some background and prepares them in advance to provide valuable feedback and advice.
Be sure to stop by the interactive job board kiosks in the Career Connections section of the SLAS Booth. Job seekers and employers can search by keyword or location, browse or post available jobs, and post resumes for potential employers prior to or onsite.
