It’ll be winter in Boston but we’re hyped to share the best of Boston neighborhoods with conference attendees. No boots or mittens required--SLAS and Hamilton are bringing the neighborhoods to you! The Tuesday Celebration will be located in the BCEC Ballroom (you won’t recognize it from the scientific sessions earlier in the day!) Wander some of the famed Boston neighborhoods – North End to Chinatown, Seaport to Fenway – we’ve got the foods, the flavors, the characters and caricatures, sites and sounds of Boston. Try your hand at the speed pitch contest, or roll-a-ball, take some snaps in the photobooth or with the Boston Red Sox’s Wally & Tessie (that’s baseball, folks), dance along with our DJ and special performances by the IMGE Dance, visit life-size battle boats – there will be something for everyone! Plus, get your Irish on with a little Dublin musical preview from across the pond. Nothing says SLAS Europe 2022 like sharing a beer with other scientists! Sláinte and save the date: May 24-27, 2022!
All guests must have an SLAS2022 badge and be 21 or older to attend the Tuesday Evening Celebration.
