The Biomek NGeniuS system from Beckman Coulter Life Sciences is the company’s first purpose- built liquid handling system for library preparation for next generation sequencing (NGS). This platform will allow scientists in clinical research* and translational laboratories to move from a manual process for library preparation to fully automating that workflow (within kit manufacturer’s constraints). The Biomek NGeniuS Next Generation Library Prep System assists with error mitigation and is easy to use. But the most exciting feature is the platform’s exceptional flexibility. Gone are the days of being constrained by a platform that uses only its own chemistries, because this new system has the ability to run chemistries from many of your favorite library prep companies.
