DIVERSA Technologies

DIVERSA Technologies is an early-stage biotech and drug delivery company founded in 2021 in Santiago de Compostela as a spin-off of the Health Research Institute of Santiago (IDIS) and the Galician Health Service (SERGAS). We are a team of pharmacists, biologists, and medical doctors with a wide experience in nanotechnology and entrepreneurship. We have developed a new patented technology to improve patients’ lives.

As experts in pharmaceutical technology and molecules with delivery problems, we have patented a novel nanotechnology based on non-toxic, biodegradable lipids. Our nanosystems can bind small drugs and complex macromolecules with high efficiency while boosting their therapeutic activity.  Binding molecules in membrane-like lipids increases their stability and helps target the right cells in the body. Patients can thus take advantage of a more targeted and effective delivery of the drug.
